The Italian national team have now gone one full year without a competitive win after they fell to yet another defeat today. The Azzuri were outclassed in every department by a Cristiano Ronaldo – less Portugal.
Italy are now third after mustering just 1 point from two matches at the ongoing UEFA Nations league tournament. The lone point came against a relatively weaker opposition , Poland, who looked to be coasting to victory until Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, restored parity from the penalty spot.
The Azzuri were uncoordinated and uninteresting to watch in their match against Portugal today and as such their fans have taken their turns to react on social media.

Hard to find 1 positive from this game for Italy. Zaza, Immobile, Cristante absolutely horrible. Defence conceded lots of chances. Donnarumma made some brilliant saves but also dodgy on crosses. Hard to conclude anything other than there‘s really dark times ahead for the Azzurri
