Marymount School holds science fair

The Director, Marymount School (International and Indian sections), Mrs. Olajumoke Dara, has emphasised the importance of early detection and promotion of technological talent in children.

Speaking at an annual Science Fair at the school premises in Lekki, Dara stated that the school places emphasis on its Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths education goals.

During the fair, pupils presented working models and investigation based projects. While pupils from the primary section display their talents with projects on various topics such as lemon battery, solar-lunar eclipse, volcanic eruptions, electrostatic force as well as live demonstrations on sedimentation, refraction and reflection, nursery school children showcased projects on germination of a seed, air occupying space, domestic and wild animals.
