All is now set for the fifth edition of the Waka About Africa Conference, slated for June 7, 2017, at the NECA building, Alausa in Lagos.
The event is being organised by Waka About Africa publication to commemorate its fifth anniversary. It is themed ‘ICT & Finance as Catalyst for Tourism and Culture in a Diversified Economy’.
According to the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Waka About, Chinyere Nwanma-Ogidi, it will bring a range of policy makers, professionals and other stakeholders in the ICT, finance, tourism and culture sectors under one roof to interact and share experiences.
“A wide range of activities, including corporate exhibition, an elaborate conference session and networking sessions have been planned,” she said.
While the Minister of Information, Tourism and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will be the guest of honour, the Director of Public Affairs, Nigeria Communications Commission, Mr. Tony Ojobo, will deliver the keynote address.
