The Ford Foundation, TBWA Concept and the Abia State Government have collaborated to promote made-in-Aba goods at the global market.

The representative of Ford Foundation in Nigeria, Prof. Paul Nwulu, made this known during the unveiling of the made-in-Aba documentary/logo.

Nwulu explained that Ford Foundation was inspired to partner the Abia State Government following the commitment shown by the Okezie Ikpeazu administration towards promoting entrepreneurship and commerce through the made-in-Aba campaign.

The Managing Director of TBWA Concept, Kelechi Nwosu, also said the essence of the partnership was to make Aba-made products acceptable at the global market.

He maintained that the global campaign would promote standard and innovations as well as create more jobs and revenue for the state.

Governor Ikpeazu, who was elated after watching the brief documentary, commended Ford Foundation and TBWA Concept for partnering his administration to make Aba the economic and manufacturing hub of the nation.

He reiterated that Nigeria could not overcome its economic challenges without providing the enablement for the promotion of made-in-Aba products.
