The member representing Aba South state constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Mr. Clinton Ebere, has dumped the All Progressive Grand Alliance for the Peoples Democratic Party.
Ebere, who won the seat on the platform of APGA in the 2015 general election, said he could not continue with the party because of the leadership crisis at its national, state and local government chapters.
Ebere had earlier defected from the PDP to APGA to contest the state Assembly seat in the run up to the 2015 general election.
The lawmaker added that he joined the PDP to enable him to continue with his political career.
Speaking while receiving Ebere back to the PDP fold, the state chairman of the party, Chief Johnson Ounigbo, lauded him for choosing the party, saying the PDP is the only political party with a future of winning elections in the state.
