They confirmed that sentiment after the New England Patriots' insane Super Bowl win on Sunday. While Goodell presented the Lombardi Trophy to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, fans in Houston unleashed a chorus of boos.
You could barely hear Goodell trying to congratulate Kraft.
Fans have criticized Goodell for a myriad of hot-button issues, including his domestic violence policies, his player safety claims and — most appropriately for Sunday evening — his handling of the Patriots "deflategate" scandal.
