A political activist in Delta State, Mr Derrick Ikoyo-Eweto, has commended the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Monday Igbuya, for his contributions to the development of the state and leadership of the House.
Speaking at his country home in Sapele, Ikoyo-Eweto said he was pleased to hear that the sixth Assembly had passed 17 bills into law out of 41 received through the assistance of the Speaker and 13 already assented to by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
He said: “The major bills passed include Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission Law, 2015, Delta State Contributory Health Commission Bill, 2015 and others.”
